Left Neglected

This book was about a woman who gets into a serious car accident. After the car accident she is left with a traumatic brain injury and a syndrome called "left neglect" in which she doesn't recognize anything to her left including parts of her body. I really enjoyed this book. It taught me a lot about a syndrome I had never heard of. In addition the main character basically had to create a new life for her and her family and though it wasn't the life she originally was striving for she had to come to terms with her limitations. Through rehabilitation and self discovery she began to focus on her abilities rather than her disabilities.
