Most interesting installment of the Lucky Harbor series to date in that it presents the most complex characters - free-spirited Chloe, who is also severely asthmatic, and deputy sheriff Sawyer, who is rules-bound, principled and trying to both compensate for his wild youth, and build a relationship with his ornery father.
