J.D. Robb's In Death series is incomparable, and we fans have been waiting on tenterhooks for the latest installment - this one, and it does not disappoint. Edgy, complex central character, NYPD Lieutenant - Homicide Eve Dallas, tracks a 50-year reign of horrible serial rapes by a brotherhood "club" originating at Yale. Like others in this series, it features strong and recurring secondary characters - billionaire husband Roarke, partner detective Peabody, psychologist and partner Mira, and others. A must-read for fans of this series and genre.
