Title: Forever and a Day
Author: Jill Shalvis
I've been working my way through Shalvis's engrossing Lucky Harbor series, set in a small coastal town populated by quirky characters who are strong secondary players. The offerings in this series are romance-relationship stories, told with much wit. In this installment, the town's beloved (and hunky) doctor, single father to his five-year-old son and caretaker for his 21-year-old surly, paraplegic sister, explores the idea and reality of romance with the town newcomer, a woman who is conflicted about returning to a high-pressure corporate life (as her parents wish) and figuring out her own needs and pathways to happiness, which may very well lead to Lucky Harbor.
Fiction; rated 5 out of 5.
